Pocket watch By the maker windmills!! The movement was made in the late 17th century by windmills in London. The verge fusee movement is in full working order. Although the case and dial are later the movement is a great example of late 17th century work with the great pillars and fantastic engraving. The case is Dutch and was most probably made in the middle of the 18th century any serious collector would be able to see that. The dial is a later replica of the original however the untrained eye would not notice. Although this watch has had some altercations its still a genuine pocket watch of the 17th century Its like putting a new strap on a Rolex the Rolex doesnt become fake its just got a different strap.
