Up for sale is an antique Waltham 18 size 15 jewel Adjusted P. Bartlett pocket watch in a base metal case for restoration out of an estate! The lever-set movement is marked: P. The movement dates to 1889.

This is a #1883 hunter case movement that has been put in an open faced case. The original crystal has been replaced with a plastic one at some point. The case on the watch is in great condition, showing only light scratches, and no wear-through on the finish. The dial is marked: Waltham.

The dial is in fair condition, there are some hairline cracks in the finish. Inside the case back is marked: DEFIANCE 8387450. The watch is currently running, and smooth to wind/set. We do not know the service history and can not guarantee the time keeping on this watch.
