Antique 1893 Elgin Ladies 14k Solid Gold 7 Jewel Full Hunter Pocket Watch Runs

  

This beautiful, antique ELGIN, ladies, 14k Solid Gold, full hunter, pocket watch. This is a stunning watch. The case is very ornate with a star on one side and a shield on the other. There is a little Gold bale at the top for hanging this from a clip or a pendant. The face of the watch is beautiful with blue hands.

The case was made by American Watch Company and is marked "14k Warranted US Assay". Elgin watch is serial number 4769904, 7 jewel watch, which was produced in 1893. It is a size 0. It weighs 42.4 grams. I don't close it tight in any of the photos because I wanted to leave the back open in case someone asked me questions about the workings, which I don't know anything about.
