Antique 18th Century Gilt Verge Fusee Pair Cased Pocket Watch John Hart 1794

  
For sale is an antique pair cased verge fusee pocket watch. Fabulous watch, made in a gilt metal. No running but potentially a very nice watch once restored or good for parts. Movement by John Hart of London, dated 1794.

Measures approximately 46mm in diameter. Non working but a good project.

Balance and fusee chain appear to be intact. When wound, the cogs will turn very quickly until the watch runs down. Missing hands and glass but dial in excellent condition.

Some wear to the outer case, which doesnt quite close properly so needs a bit of fiddling with. Feel free to view my other items and watches and follow my account.
