Antique 1931 Waltham 16s 23j Adjusted Vanguard with UP/DN Dial, Lossier Hairspring

  

Up for sale is an antique Waltham 16 size 23 jewel adjusted Vanguard pocket watch in a 10k gold filled Keystone case out of an estate! The model 1908 lever-set movement is marked: Vanguard Waltham, Mass. 23 Jewels Adjusted 6 Positions 27322933 Lossier Inner Terminal Hair Spring.

The movement features gold jewel settings, a gold center wheel, and the movement number dates to 1931. The double-sunk UP/DOWN INDICATOR dial is marked: Waltham Vanguard 23 Jewels. The dial is in fair condition, the upper portion of the power reserve indicator is chipped out - see photos.

The original glass crystal was swapped out for plastic at some point, but the crystal is in pristine condition. The watch is in a nice 10k yellow gold filled case.

Inside the case back is marked: Keystone JBoss 10K Gold Filled 9838362. The watch is currently running, and smooth to wind/set.
