WITH A BEAUTIFUL OYSTER SHAPED PRESENTATION BOX! FITTED WITH A BEAUTIFUL SERVICED PATEK PHILIPPE JEWELED LEVER WOLFS TOOTH MOVEMENT! The 4 piece HALF HUNTER case to this beautiful watch is solid 18k gold with a solid 18k gold fully signed dust cover. The case has an absolutely STUNNING polished finish pattern to the front and rear which shows light surface marks on it. The front cover has a chapter ring that has beautiful ELECTRIC blue Roman numerals on a fabulous yellow/pink irredescent enameled background that are in EXCELLENT condition showing just very light wear under magnification. The front cover spring is not operational and the cover needs to be opened by hand.

All of the covers snap'to'. The case back is engraved with an ARMORIAL and a motto in Latin which says'FIDE ET CONSTANTIA' (faith and determination to learn) The engraving is somewhat worn after years of use but the motto is still readable. It is in VERY good condition showing some very light marks. IT IS FULLY SIGNED FOR PATEK PHILIPPE AND IS NUMBERED.

The dustcover also has a light scratched inscription and although difficult to read there is a date of 1874 on it. I have gently polished the case. THE WATCH MEASURES 3.4CMS (34mm) ACROSS excluding the crown. The case is marked for solid 18k and the front cover is also marked for PP&CO (Patek Philippe & co). This lovely collectible watch has a STUNNING original bright white enameled dial.

It is unsigned, and is showing no damage. It has beautiful sharp and crisp Roman black painted numerals. The outer small crystal looks to be made from glass.

It may be the original and is in excellent condition showing no undue wear. The watch has its inner bezel which is fitted with a new plastic crystal which has a very small manufacturing fault at 12 o'clock. (like a small bubble mark) The beautiful antique spade design watch hands seem to be original with the hour hand having the double spade and are in excellent condition. This is a lovely condition TOP QUALITY original PATEK PHILLIPE unsigned Swiss made crown wind and set HIGHEST QUALITY jewelled lever movement with Wolfs tooth winding. It has minty steel screws. The watch runs well, and starts to tick after 2 or 3 turns of the crown. The watch has had a SERVICE by my watch maker and is running smoothly. The watch has kept time to within a few mins a day. The solid gold crown and gold chain ring look to be original and are in good condition with the chain ring showing light normal age related wear. This watch is made complete with a lovely black leatherette covered OYSTER shaped period box. Please remember that vintage watches have survived for many decades by being treated well. Vintage watches are not for wearing while doing yard work, working out, or swimming. Vintage watches cannot keep time like their quartz cousins and will need altering on average between +-2 to +-5 mins per day.

They are a little more destructible than modern watches. Vintage watches also require periodic service and cleaning. Every couple of years, they would like their 20,000 mile checkup, oil change, and general service.

By taking care of your vintage watch, you will have years of great service, and a quality heirloom to pass to another generation. I describe all of my items to the best of my knowledge.
