Antique Edwardian 18ct Gold Full Hunter Pocket Watch

  

I have for sale a good Edwardian 18ct gold full hunter pocket watch. Fully hallmarked in various places including dust cover for 18ct solid gold, London 1906.

A superb quality watch with the movement by renowned watchmaker Hunt & Roskell. It ticks for a few seconds with movement but will obviously need a key and service, hence the lower price. There are a couple of tiny dings to the cover and some deeper scratches near the dust cover opening (pictured), probably due to someone in the past trying to prize it open with a knife (although it does open easily). This is only noticeable when the back cover is open and doesn't detract. The front cover can be opened easily with your finger nail, im not sure if originally a button at the crown would of opened the front cover.

The good thing about this watch is that there is a vacant cartouche that has not been engraved and can be personalised for a present. The chain pictured in the first photograph is not part of the sale but available in my other listings. It has a total gross weight of 90.2 grams and measures approximately 4.8cms in diameter.
