A superb antique Georgian English solid sterling silver pair cased verge fusee pocket watch; #3115 by Grayhurst & Harvey of the Strand, London; with fully matching covers, gilt hands and porcelain dial with Roman numerals. Its gilt movement has a stunningly hand pierced balance cover and round pillars and there are 6 very old watch papers in the case. Both its covers are hallmarked London 1807 with the maker's mark WL.
The fusee chain is present but unattached and the balance doesn't quite swing but it appears to be all present and it can be set so it should be a reasonably simple job for a hobbyist or watchmaker to get it going again. It's in good all round condition otherwise, the tip of the closure button has worn away and the dial is cracked/chipped and repaired.
It weighs 143 grams and measures 56 mm case diameter. The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coin for scale, which measures 19 mm / ¾ of an inch diameter. What's more, I offer layaway deals so there's no need to let any of my listings slip through your fingers - just ask!
