Antique French 18ct Gold Enamel & Seed Pearl Ladies Ribbon Brooch Pocket Watch

  

This fabulous and elegant French antique ladies watch brooch is made of 18 ct gold, with red enamel and seed pearls. A superb quality piece of jewellery with red enamel ribbon top that bears French hallmarks and is presented in the original retailer's box (Arthur Saunders).

The watch red enamel is in wonderful condition and the seed pearls are in very good order. The brooch can also be used as a watch and has a Swiss movement but this is not functioning at present. This stunning quality watch which dates from the late 1800's looks beautiful when worn as a brooch and would make a wonderful gift.

Weight: 23 grams total without case. Size: Height: 6.5 cm - 2 5/8.

Width: 3 cm - 1 1/4. Hallmarks: French hallmarks for 18 carat gold on the inside of the watch case. The ribbon bow is marked 18 for 18 carat gold. Comes in it's original leather retailers fitted presentation case.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with only very light signs of use. Dial is in excellent condition. Enamel on watch is in excellent condition with just a couple of very small dark spots. Enamel on bow has some small losses. Seed pearls are in good condition.
