Typical of the Hebdomas is the recess of the dial in the area of the balance. Under a symmetrically arranged bridge, the heart of the work is easily recognizable. Arthur Graizely acquired this patent and marketed it together with his brother successfully with the 1889 founded company Graizely Frères. After a 1904 started partnership between Graizely and Otto Schild Graizely Frères went in 1906 entirely in the Fa. Manufacture d'Horlogerie Schild & Co. Schild continued to make these watches. Later also Hebdomas pocket watches were made with Weckwerk-Kadratur.
However, these did not have the usual 8-day work because the necessary oversized barrel had to be omitted for reasons of space in favor of the additional mechanism. The power reserve of these pocket watches was still 3 days. Hebdomas watches achieved many awards and medals at international fairs: Geneva 1896, Paris 1900, Chicago 1902, Milan 1906, Bruxelles 1910, Berne 1914.
