Antique original English key wind Doctor's 23 jewel pocket watch 18k gold. 1863

Up for sale is a rare and beautiful antique English key wind pocket watch made by George Moore of London. It is all original and is a doctor's watch with independent seconds. It was presented to John Bricknell Esq. It measures 47mm in diameter, and is in exceptional condition with an amazing high grade 23 jewel movement! It is in the original lovely 18k solid gold case in very good condition, and was recently serviced to run and keep very good time.

Serviced: This watch was fully serviced on December 26th, 2017. It was fully disassembled, including the cap jewels, all parts cleaned and oiled, and it was then adjusted to keep very good time. Movement : This watch runs great and keeps very good time.

The beautiful original high grade movement is key set from the back and in excellent condition. It has 23 jewels, a diamond end stone and gold balance weights! It has jewel caps over the lever and escapement wheel. There is a lever on the side to engage the seconds hand and it works great. This is a very beautiful and exceptional movement!

Dial : The original dial is in excellent condition, apart from a couple of fine hairlines. Case : The original case is 18k solid gold and is in exquisite condition. The covers work as they should, and it has a nice glass crystal. This rare and amazing watch is ready to display or carry!
