Antique Silver Pocket Watch William Williams Liverpool Windows HM Chester 1852. This is a lovely genuine old watch of good size at approximately 50mm diameter.

It has all the features and look of an early fusee lever pocket watch with flush seconds dial with cream colour enamel. It has a fusee movement with typical Liverpool Jeweling including a nice diamond end stone to the plain balance staff and wheel. The large jewels to the pivots are often referred to as, "Liverpool Windows". The movement does run and keep good time although the balance amplitude is not that great which probably indicates a need for a drop of oil or a good clean. The enamel dial has the extremely faint hairlines shown.
