Antique Solid Gold Pocket Watch, Albert Chain & Fob Excellent Condition in GWO

  
Please read all the information on this listing. A very good antique open face pocket watch with Albert chain and swivel fob in fully hall marked solid 9ct gold dating to the early part of the 20th century.

The watch is a Waltham, 635 grade, 1908 model having a nickel finished screw set 17 jewel movement, adjusted to positions with a compensated balance and micro regulator in good working order. The case is made by Dennison and fully hall marked for 9ct gold (including the dust cover) and is in excellent all round condition.

The dial is signed'Waltham' on white enamel having black Roman numerals, sub. Seconds dial and blued steel hands and is in very good condition having just a very small (3mm) hairline at the bottom of the dial which is barely noticeable. The chain is a single graduated Albert with hard stone swivel fob, t-bar and lobster clasp.

Hall marked throughout for 9ct gold and is also in very good condition. It measures 14 1/4 inches from t-bar to clasp and the short chain is 2 3/4 inches to the fob. Gross weight is 122.7g. I describe watches to the best of my ability, not being an expert by any means.

I do not dismantle watches as I do not have the expertise and only a basic check is made i. Case & dial condition and whether or not the movement runs - that is all.
