Up for sale is a very rare and beautiful size 18 Rockford Grade 900 Rail Road pocket watch made in 1899. It has a very high grade 24 ruby jewel movement and is all original including probably also the case, which is a very nice gold filled case in very good condition! Kerns RR Watch 1905, which makes it of very special interest to collectors. Kerns was a railroad watch inspector who was likely a local watchmaker employed by the railroad to inspect and repair the all important railroad employees' watches.

This is a really special watch! Movement : This watch runs great and keeps very good time. The beautiful original high grade movement is in excellent condition and is Rail Road grade.

It is lever set, with 24 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions. It has ruby jewels, gold screw settings and gold balance weights! This is a really beautiful movement! Dial : The original double sunk dial is in excellent condition. Case : The lovely gold filled Fahy's case is nicely decorated and in very good condition with just a very small ding in the back. It is probably the original and has no issues and the lids open and close as they should. This very rare and special watch is ready to display or carry!
