Rare self winding pocket watch according Loehr's Patent. Von Loehr (Vienna, Austria) filed his patent for automatic winding system in 1878. According the book of J. Sabrier "Self-Winding watches", these watches were all the more successfull, due to the fact that they functioned very well.
The same book illustrates self-winding pocket watch by Von Loehr, from famous collection of Watch Museum (Musee internationale d'horlogerie) from La Chaux de Fonds. The dial is signed "Loehr Brevete SGDG" for Von Loehr Patent, dust cover is also signed as "Perpetuelle Brevete SGDG" for "Perpetual Patented" Condition The watch appears to be in good condition, work as it should, automatic winding functions correctly.
Cosmetically watch appears to be in good condition. Metal case is in very good condition. Dial seems to be flawless.
