While most Chinese market watches of 1800s were thick, this one is unregulary flat in its 6.5 mm height case (not including crystal) forming a modestly elegant appearance. Common'Chinese' style pocket watch measures 17 mm thick without crystal. Not working, requires service; issue with mainspring. Balance spins alright, main train alright - running while pressure applied. Fine original dial without cracks. Fine original glass crystal without visible imperfections.
