Beautiful quarter repeater in solid 18k gold hunter case. It's quite early watch with keyless winding - the winding crown is quite archaic. The movement feature side lever escapement, should be quite early repeater with keyless windings, may be 1850s-1860s. Typically for this period, dial is screwed by two screws to the top plate.
The layout of movement is quite unusual, very nice. It's unsigned, but the work is excellent quality. The solid nickel movement is very nice, it's beautifully finished with perlage and Geneva waves. It's jewelled to the hammers (31 jewels totally), counterpivots for lever escapement wheel are made of gold and engraved. Nice screwed chaton to the centre wheel. All wheels for both trains (repeating and transmission) are made of rose gold. The winding wheels has wolf tooth profile. All metal parts are polished and bevelled, screws are blued. Condition The watch appears to be in good condition. The movement is in running condition, though I don't guarantee time keeping.
Repetition strikes as it should. Dial has common tiny reparation near the left screw at IX. Cosmetically watch is quite fine, with some minor wear to the case.
Case is hallmarked for 18k gold, dust cover is also made of gold. Please look video below the photo. Case diameter is 49mm, height without bow is 61mm. It's quite hefty, weight is 113 grams.
