The dial is white enamel with black Roman numerals and gold coloured fancy hands. The movement is a chain driven fusee with Verge escapement Fire gilt and silver plates with fancy round pillars and set with coloured gems, pierced silver decorated cock depicting the crucifixion over a plain steel balance with Tompion type regulator. The watch winds strongly, sets and runs for over 24 hours and is in good working order running the full length of its chain keeping good time for a verge of this age. It has a good swinging balance and good chain.
The watch case is marked to the inside with the number 14060 L. It is key wind and set.The dial and dial glass are clean and clear and free from any chips or cracks. Both cases are clean and bright and have worn as to their age with all the covers closing nice and tight.
Please note there is a part of the shell missing from its pair case. The watch measures 54mm excluding crown and its pair case a big chunky 61mm. It comes with a small silver rope chain and key as in the photos.
