Good detent pocket chronometer, comes in wooden observation box. Classic looking watch, it's quite big and very solidly built, as you can expect from quality chronometer.

Diameter is 57mm, weigh is hefty 161 gramm. Made by Ulysse Breting (Locle, Switzerland) for British market, London year marks dates it to 1887. Company produced quality watches and precision watches. According Kathleen Pritchard , in 1860 the company was awarded a gold medal at the World Exhibition in Besancon and in 1875 it won fourth place in an observatory test at Neuchâtel for a detent pocket chronometer.

The watch is quality piece - pivoted detent escapement is built to high standards. The balance wheel is big and features golden regulating screws. All escapement train has golden counterpivots. Dial is signed by Ulysse Breting, Locle.

Condition Watch appears to be in good condition. Movement is running as it should. Case is in ok condition, with very minor wear.

It's hallmarked for solid silver, dust cover is also gold and is hallmarked. Dial seems to be in good condition, please see photos. Thick mineral crystals, original hands. Box is also in ok condition, with normal period wear. I can accept payments in euros within EU.
