Very nice, true antique and original period, once used and since stored away. This is a true, 100% survivor watch, as it has not been worn or serviced in decades. Has been tested and is currently not working. The hand adjust function does seem to work just fine, and when you jump start the balance, it seems to move freely and will tick for a few seconds.

Exterior shows light wear from use and storage, including marks, scratches, a few very small dents in the case, and light tarnish on the inside cover. Dial is porcelain and is not cracked, and does have the original crystal which is not damaged, either. Both keys appear to be original and are marked 4 and 6 on the heads. The original storage box is solid wood with a velvet lined interior, and shows light surface wear, including typical marks, scratches, verdigris over the brass parts, and light soiling.

It does have the original label on the top, but it is long faded and not readable. It is not marked on the dial, nor is it marked with anything on the back of the movement. The only marks are the inside back cover which reads NO. It is also marked on the inside cover 33350 33380.

It is not hallmarked with a metal purity, but we did perform an acid stone test and confirms 14K gold. We are also uncertain to any jewel counts. Exterior of the case has a lovely floral etched design with a bird on one side with great shine to it. PLEASE NOTE: We are not watch experts or graders, but have done our absolute honest best to describe this watch movement in its condition and operation. This is an absolutely beautiful watch in person! Would be a wonderful addition to anyoneís collection of fine watches or would be a great example to use if you have it properly serviced! A more hard to find, and more complete watch, as many of Louis Jacot's cases were silver or silver alloy! Would make a great gift idea for that special someone you know, too!
