This style pocket watch currently appears on the Cartier website and has the Roman Numerals and a rail track minute circle, therefore this design still remains popular even as it has aged. This watch has an original dial and has not been restored. This pocket watch is circa 1910.

This is surely one of the original Cartier pocket watches designed because of the Cartier Paris stamped at the top along side the 12 o'clock instead of the center of the watch. The movement this pocket watch house is original to the watch and is a 17 jewel European Watch Co. Early Cartier pocket watches brought in movements and were not always signed.
