It has an English movement and is not working. I think it needs a winder to fit in the top.

Or is it a key? So if you have the skill to recognise what it needs and how to fix it you will have a nice looking pocket watch.

On the face it is marked Spikens from Dent 123 High Street Wandsworth S W. I think this was probably the original retailer. It has a vacant cartouche on the back cover and is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1911 and is 5cm in diameter.
