Here is an unusual and hard to find American Waltham 18k SOLID gold Open Face Case pocket watch. I was able to save this watch from being scrapped. This Waltham has a clean looking case. The case and movement weigh 25.8 pennyweigh or 40.1 grams as pictured. The case measures 35.0 mm wide not including the bow and crown.

This watch has a SIGNED model 1900 16 jewel adjusted movement. Has gold jewel settings with screwed chatons. Looks to be a very high grade movement. 16 jewels is an unusual jewel count.

The movement's serial number 14,166,972 dates this watch to 1904. This open face pocket watch has a wire loop for hanging from a chain.

The SIGNED dial on this Waltham is 2 handed dial which is very unusual. Has script Arabic hour markers and matching blued hands.

This stem wound stem set. This watch is trying to run but will need a clean and oil service. It is running but stops. I have no record for 114 year old Waltham 18k Solid Gold pocket watch.
