A BEAUTIFUL GENUINE ROLEX WATCH FIND FROM ANTIQUETIME! AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE 1928 MAN'S SOLID 9 CARAT GOLD HALF HUNTER ROLEX POCKET WATCH. This fantastic original SOLID 9 CARAT GOLD HALF HUNTER watch case is in lovely condition for the age of this watch! The case measures 4.9cms (49mm) in width excluding the crown. The bezel is in good condition showing no dings that I can see.

The case side shows small nicks and one small ding. The case back has one pin head ding and normal useage micro scratches. The enamel work is very good with just small losses on the outer ring. The solid gold dust cover shows one small, light ding and is in lovely condition. The inside of the case is signed by A.

The hallmarks date this lovely genuine ROLEX watch to 1928 (Birmingham). This is a lovely white dial. It is in sensational ORIGINAL condition and looks beautiful. It is unsigned and has the words'Swiss made' on the bottom of the dial. It has a lovely gloss finish and I can see NO hairlines or damage under magnification.

The black painted ORIGINAL Arabic numerals are fantastic and have a lovely finish, as does the black painted outer minute track. The hands are original and superb.

They are blued steel and the hour hand is the characteristic'double spade' for half hunter watches. They are in excellent condition. The dial also has a sub second dial which is in excellent condition. The crystal is plexi and shows some light wear but nothing too detrimental. This stunning watch is fitted with its entirely original FULLY ROLEX SIGNED Swiss made 15 JEWEL high quality powerhouse.

It is a TOP quality movement and is FULLY signed on the top plates. This beautiful movement has just been FULLY SERVICED by my watch maker, is running sweetly and is keeping good time. It winds and sets beautifully. The crown looks to be original and is in very good condition. The chain ring is in very good condition with no undue wear.
