Up for sale is a Mega Rare Beautiful Antique First Run Railroad Double Hunter Elgin. Pocket Watch in Gorgeous Heavy Highly Engraved Mint Gold Filled Case. The Rare, One of a Kind Unique Gold Movement has a serial number 10763826 which dates it to be manufactured in 1903.

This is the First and Only Gold Movement I've ever seen on Grade 348 being a collector and a Watchmaker for over 50 years. The Case is in Excellent Mint condition, the Double Sunk Glass Enamel Dial , Hands and Glass Crystals are in immaculate mint condition please see the pictures. The Watch size is 18 with 21 Ruby Jewels in Gold settings, Adjusted to Temperature, 5 positions, Temperature and Isochronism.

These movements featured bi-directional, full-rotor winding, and had two automatic winding gear ratios, which were automatically engaged as the mainspring tension increased. The contributions of the Elgin National Watch Company to American Horological industry cannot be overstated. Many Elgin watches that were made over 100 years ago are still providing reliable and accurate daily service to their proud owners.
