Quality Rare Antique 18ct Gold Waltham Riverside Maximus Pocket Watch, 23 Jewels
GOOD QUALITY, ANTIQUE 18CT GOLD WALTHAM RIVERSIDE MAXIMUS POCKET WATCH. 18CT Gold, 23 Jewel, Waltham Riverside Maximus Pocket Watch. This watch is an excellent example, in superb condition and very good working order. The plain, 18 carat solid gold case is in excellent condition. 750 Fine for 18 carat solid gold.
The white enamel dial is in very good condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Waltham". There are some faint hairlines on the outer chapter between three and four o'clock (see photo).
The good quality, high grade, 23 Jewels, Waltham Riverside Maximus movement is in excellent working order. It is signed by the maker "AWWCo, Waltham Mass" and has a lovely damaskeened finish. It has a micro-metric regulator. All signs of a very good watch.
The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The weight is 103.8g.
