THREE EMPERORS NAPOLEON COMMEMORATIVE Verge Fusee Antique Pocket Watch

  
Interesting watch from about 1805. The dial of the watch bears portraits of three Emperors - Napoleon I of France on the top, Alexandre I of Russia and Francis II of Austria on the second row and Victory emblematic on the bottom of dial.

Unusually enough, the movement is not signed by watchmaker's name. Instead it bears signature "Les Trois Empereur" - Three Emperors. This is commemorative watch to the "Battle of the Three Emperors" that happened in 1805 under Austerlitz. In this battle, one of the most important and decisive engagements of the Napoleonic Wars. In what is widely regarded as the greatest victory ever achieved by Napoleon, the Grande Armée of France defeated a larger Russian and Austrian army led by Tsar Alexander I and Holy Roman Emperor Francis II.

Condition Dial is in good condition with common minor damages near the winding hole. Verge fusee movement is running in every position, though I don't guarantee time keeping. The case appears to be in good condition. Most noticeable damage is defect to the bezel, but it still holds the crystal firmly.
