A very nice condition silver key wound fob pocket watch with a two tone decorated case. I think it will date by the Cylinder Escapement and being key wound to circa 1880. The nicely gilded and good quality movement is in excellent working order as it has just been serviced. It is keeping good time for a 140+ year old pocket watch and there is a winding and setting key included. The nice nicely engraved solid silver case with a nice dogs head engraving and gold plated edging on the covers measures 46mm diameter approx. It has strong unsterssed hinges and is in good condition with the covers closing well. Rear cover opens easily for winding and there is a winding and setting key included. It has a nicely painted white and blue ceramic dial with black Roman numerals and a smaller seconds dial. Fine delicate blued steel hands and a clear crystal glass all add the originallity of the watch. An excellent condition old silver pocket watch seldom available in this condition and good working order.
