This small antique pocket watch is absolutely stunning. The case is solid 9ct rose/red gold (not filled or plated), it has a full hallmark for London 1914 (George V) and shows master craftsmanship at its best. The face of the watch is really beautiful.
It has iridescent hands that shimmer blue when they catch the light, and a hand finished delicate gilded pattern around the centre and perimeter of the white face. The hand engraving around the rim and on the back is lovely. The enamelling on the reverse shows some signs of wear, but you can still see the orange and green colours of the flower design. It has a manual stem winding mechanism and a Swiss movement which has been fully serviced by a professional watchmaker. The sponsor's mark is George Stockwell. It is in excellent condition for it's age and the initials JC are lightly engraved within the pattern on the back. Comes with a presentation box.
Watch measures 3cm diameter, 8mm depth. Complete watch weighs 22.2g. Also available at extra cost is a 9ct rose/red gold Double Albert watch chain. Length 24cm, Weight 14.2g.
