1920s Beautiful H Samuel 15J R/Gold Gents Pocket Watch. Antique. Serviced

  
An exceptionally nice Rolled Gold gents pocket watch by H Samuel of Manchester, England. I think it will date to circa 1920. It has a high quality bright nickel 15 jewel Swiss movement with a bi-metalic balance. It is running with a good healthy balance swing and keeping good time for a 100 year old watch as it has just been serviced. Button winding and hand set function well. The very nice R/Gold case measures 50mm diameter approx and as you can see is in generally near mint condition. The gold plating is showing no signs of wear as it is the heavier type being guaranteed to wear for 20 years from new. It has polished up very well to look just like a gold watch. It has a beautiful white ceramic dial with black Roman numerals and a small sunken seconds dial.
