Antique 1908 Elgin 16 size 17j Pocket Watch with 3 Finger Bridge! Running

  
This is an excellent antique Elgin 16 size 17 jewel pocket watch with a 3 finger bridge in a very nice gold filled Keystone hunter case out of an estate! This is a great restoration/project watch!

The stem-set movement is marked: Elgin Nat'l Watch Co. Safety Pinion 17 Jewels 13711575. The dial is in excellent condition!

No chips, cracks, or hairlines in the finish. The dial is marked Elgin.

The plastic crystal is in good condition. The case is in great condition, the engravings are very well defined. There are some small areas of wear-through along the edges of the engravings. Inside of the case back is marked: Keystone Watch Case Co 7262648.

Inside the dust cover is marked: Guaranteed J. The watch will currently wind/set, and will run when wound. The watch slips occasionally when setting. The crystal will need to be replaced with a proper glass one, the plastic crystal is keeping the case from reliably staying closed.

We do not know the service history on this watch, and recommend it be serviced to keep running and keep time. We can not guarantee the time keeping on this watch. See photos for condition please.
