This is a Rare and Collectable piece of Vintage Gold Sports Memorabilia. Made in 9ct Yellow Gold it is a Fob Medal that could have been soldered onto a Pocket Watch Chain using the bail at the top and features a very decorative design on the front of either a Billiards or Snooker player at the table while it is not engraved on the back. It is Fully Hallmarked on the back as photographed with TJS for the Maker Thomas James Skelton, the Wheatsheaves Mark for Chester Assay Office, 9 and. 375 for the Gold Purity, the Date Letter B for 1927 and it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the Gold Content. The front of the medal is also stamped with 9 and.
375 for the Gold Purity. It weighs 6.3g and measures 25.5mm wide x 31mm long including the bail.
The Fob is in a used but very good condition for its age with no damage and just very minor surface wear so I believe it has never been attached to a chain before.
