Antique 800 GALLONE Silver FOB Pocket Watch Floral Enamel Dial H. BRUCKNER 45mm

This is an antique ladies or small gents 800 silver cased pocket watch. The edges of the silver case have been engraved with a pretty floral border and the back has a vacant cartouche surrounded by foliage. The dial is white enamel with nice hand painted flowers in the very centre and a seconds dial at the bottom. The main hands are really fine gilt metal. The top suspension loop has been silvered and all this has worn off as this watch has been used. It is very pretty and will make a lovely gift for someone into antique mechanical fob watches. The inner case is named GALLONE with serial number 263716. It is also marked with a grouse for Swiss metal at an 800 purity alongside a crescent moon and crown which is an indication of German silver.

The movement cover is engraved with: H. Bruckner Hirschberg Remontoir 10 Steine.

The inner movement cover is marked with the same serial number 263716 and the word METAL. The movement is signed COBRA in a small circle, the makers mark of the movement. Crown wind and I have wound it, it is ticking away happy. I have not timed it. I have NOT tested this pocket watch to see if it works or how well it keeps time. Please see photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition. There are signs of age and use wear including some surface scuffs and minor impact marks. There are lots of heavy scratches on the back and inside where it's been opened clumsily. The enamel dial has a chip right in the centre.

My stock ref : ESK-91222 in Esk pocket watch drawer. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are. In the title or description it means. Condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ".
