You are purchasing a stunning antique solid 14k rose gold locket fob with gold bearing quartz from the California gold rush on both sides that is from the the 19th century as seen in the enlarged photos. I can find no makers marks on the piece and it tests 14k gold and the gold bearing quartz has a pinkish hue on one side and is white on the other and in great shape with nice veins of gold. The locket swivels and the fram has nice hand chased work. The inside of the piece can hold two pictures it is a very well made piece and snaps shut snugly. It measures 1 13/16" long by 1 1/6" wide by 3/8 thick and it is heavy weighting 20.4 grams.
