I have NOT timed any of them and not serviced any. This is an antique hunter case, gold plated, crown wind pocket watch made by Fenchurch. The dial is enamel with all hands present and is named The Fenchurch Lever. It has a hinged back which is engraved on the inside with: Star Dennison Watch Case Co. 797210 The inner back case is engraved with: English Make This case guaranteed to wear ten years 797210.
The movement is marked: Swiss Made 3 Adjustments. Please see photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition.
There are normal signs of age and use wear including some surface scuffs etc. The gilding is worn in places, especially on the suspension lop as you would expect. It does wind and tick but I don't know how well it will keep time. What a cracking Hunter gold plated pocket watch this is with the beautiful engine turned design on both cases, vacant cartouche on the top front case.
I have just wound this and it is ticking away happy. Nice polished engine turned movement plate as well. 1 and 7/8 inches in diameter or 4.8cm.
My stock ref : in pocket watch drawer - ESK-6722. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.
In the title or description it means. Condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage.
