Antique Victorian French Ormolu Bevelled Glass - Jewellery Trinket Box Watch. PLEASE VIEW ALL 12 PHOTOS I HAVE PROVIDED. A fine antique French bevelled glass pocket watch holder or jewellery display box. Dates to the late part of the 19th century aound 1870 - 1890.

The exterier has thick panels of bevelled glass which are in good order apart from two small chips on the corners. Has original swinging handle which is in good working order. The frame work is all gold gilt metal has some wear in places as to be expected with a piece over 135 years old. Has a hindged door with a small catch which is in good working order. The door opens to reveal a stunning tufted pink silk lining which has a small hook to display a ladies pocket watch or fine jewellery.

Has original feet which have nice detail one looks to have had an old repair but still stands level. Measures - 12 cm height including handle x 5.8 cm wide x 4.8 cm deep.
