Antique Gold Filled Waltham 17j Ps Bartlett Pocket Watch, 24hr Dial, Large 18s
ANTIQUE GOLD FILLED WALTHAM 17J PS BARTLETT POCKET WATCH, 24HR DIAL, LARGE 18S. A good, antique, gentleman's, Gold Filled, American, Pocket Watch by the Waltham Watch Co. This is a lovely pocket watch in good condition and good working order.
The large, heavy gauge, gold filled case is in very good condition. The case with decorative engraving. There is some minor wear/brassing to the edges. The 24 hour dial is in good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals with in inner chapter numbered 13 to 24.
There is also a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Waltham" (see photo). The 17 jewel full plate movement is in good working order, running very well. It is a little stiff to wind.It is signed by the maker "PS Bartlett, Waltham Mass" and 17 Jewels, Adjusted. The serial number dating the watch to c1907. The watch is size 18S, it measures approximately 53mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The weight is a hefty 112.2g.
