Antique Indian India bone horn sandalwood pocket watch box Vizagapatam

  

A very attractive box for a pocket watch, probably 1880s or so. Made of horn, decorated in bone and lined with sandalwood. In very good condition with all the bone tracery undamaged. Two or three bone "side clamp" pieces missing and a small section of bone.

Pocket watch holder decoration also in very good condition. There is a strut at the back to set the watch holder in display mode. Dimensions: app 4 and 1/2" x 3 and 1/2" and 2 and 1/2 deep.
