Antique Large Silver Pocket Watch Chain Albert With Fox Head T Bar Heavy 49.2g

  
Superb Antique Gentleman's large Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) traditional chunky very long curb link pocket watch chain/Albert with highly unusual fox head T bar and original big stamped swivel dog clip. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to'Peaky Blinders'. (Please excuse the reflections / dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 45.5cm / 17 3/4 total length and weighs a hefty 49.2 grams.

Bright traditional chunky curb links (measure 6mm width) - all have a lovely'fluid' feel to them and reflect the light beautifully. Every link is hallmarked to one side (within a recessed square shaped cartouche) with the Lion passant for Sterling silver.

Wonderful slightly tapered T bar (measures 4.3cm length) to one end which has a very unusual swivel fox head to centre and o riginal secure big swivel dog clip to the other end (operates correctly) which is clearly stamped with the silver purity (within an oval shaped, recessed cartouche); 925. (The T bar is not stamped/hallmarked but tests as silver - however due to this I will state; white metal). Excellent clean and extremely bright condition with no damage or wear and just a few overall tiny micro surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
