Antique Omega Silver 0.800 Open Face Pocket Watch. An antique Omega silver 0.800 open face pocket watch in excellent condition, made in Switzerland in 1942. DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and outer 13-24-hour numbers. The dial has golden moon hands and a subsidiary second's dial at the six. The dial is signed: Omega with the logo.
MOVEMENT: The anchor lever movement with 15 jewels has a plain cock with polished steel regulator, a club foot lever escapement with compensation balance wheel. The movement is signed: "Omega, 15 Jewels, Swiss" and numbered: 8802608. Calibre number: 38.5L T1. The movement is in very good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. CASE: The watch lies in a silver open face case in excellent condition with a smooth finish with a monogram free cartouche.
The inner side of the case is signed: "Omega", Fab Swiss, stamped for silver 0.800 Boliden, FFBA1 and numbered: 9876746. The cuvette shows several medals and is signed: "Omega, Bienne - Geneve". Signed: Omega - Swiss - 1942. Diameter: 49 mm - Weight: 68.6 gr.
