A rare and unusual, antique pocket watch holder, styled as a grandfather clock, early 19th century. A Novelty item made in the form of a grandfather clock, it is beautifully made with a mixture of wood with different marquetry in-lays including mother of pearl and Ebony stringing. The top is open and it It has a little hook To the inside top edge, to hang your pocket watch.

It is in very good condition with a few surface marks and some faint splits to the back commensurate with age. Size is approximately 34 cm tall by 9 cm wide by 5 cm deep.
