ANTIQUE SCOTTISH SILVER PAIR CASE POCKET WATCH, LAURENCEKIRK, SILVER & GOLD DIAL. A vey good, antique, gentleman's sterling silver, Pair Cased Pocket Watch made in Laurencekirk, Scotland. The English made, sterling silver cases are in good condition, all covers opening and closing tightly as they should. They have full English hallmarks for sterling silver. The case maker's mark IJTN Isaac Jabez Theo Newsome, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Chester town mark and the date letter "D" for 1904/05.The silver and gold dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. The English lever movement is in working order. It is signed John A Dawson, Laurencekirk (Scotland).
It is key wind and set by the key provided. The watch measures 54mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown).
