The watch is crown wind and set. The 7 jewel movement is signed for American Waltham. The serial number 11151098 lists it as the model 1897, size 14, grade Ensign, 7 jewels and was built in 1902.
The watch is winding smoothly, setting correctly and is running well, it was professionally serviced when I acquired it and has been in a collection ever since. The white enamel dial is in a very good condition. The hands are whip and spade faded blued steel with Roman numerals. Please remember this is circa 121 years old, a good antique working timepiece.
