Excellent Heavy Antique American Elgin O/F Pocket Watch. Silveroid Case with Screw on lids. The heavy silveroid case is in good condition with medium/heavy even pocket wear. The lids are screw on/off with good threads. The bezel has a mineral crystal is a good unmarked condition.

It is crown wind and set. The movement is in a good clean condition. It winds smoothly and is running strongly keeping a good time. It is signed: Elgin Nat'l Watch Co. The serial number 16035149 lists it as the model 5, built in 1912 and is size 18 with 15 jewels.

The rear plates are beautifully damascened nickel steel with lovely screw down ruby jewels. It was professionally serviced a while back when I acquired it.

The enamel dial is in good condition, just a couple of faint hairlines. The hands are fine blued steel spade. It is signed for Elgin Nat'l Watch Co.
