GOOD VICTORIAN ANTIQUE SILVER POCKET WATCH, LANCASHIRE WATCH Co. A very good, English gentleman's sterling silver cased Pocket Watch made by the Lancashire Watch Company and dating from c1896. This watch is a very good example, in excellent condition and in good working order. The case has full English hallmarks for sterling silver. The maker's mark "TPH" for The Lancashire Watch Co Ltd (Thomas Peter Hewitt), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Chester town mark and the date letter "N" for 1896/97.

The plain sterling silver case is in very good overall condition. The white enamel dial is in very good condition, it has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. The English lever movement is in excellent working order. It is stem wound and pin set.
