Lovely Antique Elgin Gents Full Hunter 15J Pocket Watch. Gold Filled Dennison'Star', 10 Year Case. The case is a Dennison'star. It is in very good condition with no major damage and no signs of plate loss.

The rear lid does have a couple of very light pin dings and the case has the normal patina marks related to its age. The hinges are firm and not stressed. The front lid releases with the crown being pressed and the lid opens up to 90 degrees. The bow is a good fit on the pendent. The inner bezel has a clear crystal in good condition.

The watch is crown wind and crown set working correctly. The 15 jewel movement is signed Elgin Nat'l Watch Co. The serial number 25072915 lists it as the model 6 and grade 312, size 16, 15 jewels and was built in 1922.

Lovely damascene work on the rear nickel steel plates. The watch is winding smoothly, setting correctly and is running strongly. It is in very clean condition having been professionally cleaned and serviced when I acquired it.

The white enamel dial is undamaged and in lovely cosmetic condition with just a short faint line between the seconds dial and the edge at 6 o'clock. The hands are blued steel with Roman numerals.
