Lovely Antique Solid Silver Ornate Albert Pocket Watch Chain, Hallmarked. Here is a really lovely antique ornate solid silver pocket watch chain. The chain measures fifteen inches long including the dog clip and is all made of solid silver.
This watch chain is really unusual & ornate & has good sturdy oval links & then three sections of a unusual interlinked knot links. The chain comes complete with a solid silver T bar which is hallmarked and makers mark of H. P & hallmarks and the chain weighs over 42g and nicely every link is hallmarked with the lion passant and the chain dates between the victorian and art deco era, it also comes complete with a silver dog clip which is marked, SS & i cannot see a hallmark on this so , so this is a later addition, but the chain is all complete. This really is a lovely antique pocket watch chain in very good origional complete condition and a good quality ornate example of these.
