RECTA Gold Filled Pocket Watch Full Hunter Antique Dennison Star 17 Jewels Works. The Recta Watch Company was originally founded by Antoine Muller and Alcide Vaucher in Bienne, Switzerland in 1897.

Muller & Vaucher Fabrique d'Horlogerie registered the Recta name in 1898. This half hunter watch has a stem-winding movement, 17 jewels and is working nicely.

The movement is protected by an inner dust cover which has some surface markings. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is a Dennison Star case, guaranteed for 10 years.

The front and sides of the cases are in good condition and the enamel Roman numbers have no damage either. It opens and closes like it should do. The movement has the name RECTAX on it, Swiss made, 17 jewels and the number 8876 is on the rim next to the movement. The bail is stamped D. For Dennison Quality I believe.

The watch glass is in lovely condition too. Blued steel hands with a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The watch weighs 104.61 grams.
