14CT GOLD FILLED, CENTRE SECONDS CHRONOGRAPH POCKET WATCH, GREENWICH TIME. 14 carat gold filled, Greenwich Time, Centre Seconds Chronograph Pocket Watch. The watch is a very nice example, in good overall condition and in working order. The very good quality, 25 year, 14 carat gold filled case is in excellent condition. The inside of the rear cover is stamped 14CT Gold Filled and the inner cuvette stamped warranted to wear 25 years.

The case has engine turned engraving to the rear and there is a central cartouche that is free of initials. The 3/4 plate movement is in working order.

The watch is stem wound and pin set. The "stop work" to stop the second hand is operated by sliding the button on the case side band and is functioning. The enamel dial is in very good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals.

It is signed Centre Seconds Chronograph, Greenwich Time. The Greenwich Time name on the watch an acknowledgement to the importance of the Royal Observatory at Greenwich, the Prime Meridian and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

The watch measures 55mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 134.4g.
