Bespoke Leather and original leather strap with Albert chain. Very unusual watch mechanism which allows the watch to be used as a pocket watch via the gold coloured Albert style chain (included) or left on the Bespoke leather strap and used as a wristwatch. Watch is made from Gunmetal which was used for making watches from 1870. I have no idea of a date for this watch as there are no markings I can find on the case or movement to confirm this. The watch is small which was how they were made at the time it measures 27mm in diameter 32mm including winder which appears to be Rose gold.

Watch has a white face with gold coloured elaborate hands. Case of watch is snap back with 2 back covers. Movement is not marked, that I can see. Movement is working but could do with a service as gains about 30 + minutes a day.

Mind you that is probably good for a watch of this age. Both watch case and face have small marks appropriate for age. As said earlier the strap has been made specifically for this watch and watch holding mechanism.

Made from high quality Veg Tan leather and lined with soft pig skin. Strap has been designed as a bund type strap with gold coloured mechanism held via leather screw down removable strap. Mechanism has a spring release to remove watch easily from its jaws.

Strap has been made to fit most wrist sizes from 175mm to 215mm. It is 16mm wide and 31mm at the middle.

This watch also comes with it's original leather strap which will also hold the mechanism. This strap is 10mm wide and for a maximum wrist size of 175mm. I have listed this watch as suitable for both a man or woman to wear.

Although small it does not look out of place on either. A great talking point when worn and a piece of history.
